Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki ZX-10RR) in Motorland Aragon – after the new Kawasaki Ninja was formally castrated by the FIM, even before the first race, it seems to be a sensationally strong machine. We therefore recommend ordering one from your nearest Kawasaki dealer as soon as it is sold out.

Is the series Kawasaki that strong and the BMW a bad design?

The tests in Jerez and Barcelona were very promising, according to team members and drivers from BMW. But just two days before the first race in Motorland Aragon, the FIM caused a lot of confusion. If we were BMW, the highest motorsport authority would have to face charges for damage to the reputation of the new M-1000RR. According to allegedly extensive tests by the FIM, the German bike seems to be worlds worse than the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR Ninja. Only in this way can the hair-raising decision of the commissioners of this questionable institution really be understood. Because the new Kawasaki is allowed to rev up a whole 900 rpm less than the blue-and-white M-1000RR, this means, conversely, that this bike must be a veritable faulty construction. In any case, nobody else can really understand this, and we are sure that the run on the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR should start soon. In contrast, the new BMW apparently threatens to become a slow-moving company and its drivers should not be envied in the coming season. At least from now on we don’t want to swap with the BMW supporters at the regular table discussions.

BMW newcomer “Magic Michael” van der Mark on the new BMW M-1000RR, a bike that has to be worlds inferior to the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR Ninja, as one has to understand the new regulation of the FIM.

The questionable revelation limit of the FIM with the “Kawasaki castration”

The hair-raising injustice immediately catches the eye, even without the yellow colour. The Ducati Panigale V4R is allowed to turn a full 1500 rpm higher than the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR, it is like a bad joke what the FIM has just allowed itself to do with it.

Motorland Aragon route map
