Too many unnecessary annoyances in the MotoGP
Pols brother Aleix Espargaró summed it up on the edge of the many ugly accidents in the first Grand Prix of the season. He and his driver colleagues had had gravel beds with finer granules for years than the giant chunks used in Portimão, for example. But listened and nobody would have implemented this. The high gentlemen in the paddock of many as an useless importance from the so-called Safety commission of the FIM just looked away for years. Obviously, the Dorna around Carmelo Ezpeleta didn’t care, after she only reacted pilots after the fatal fall of the Gasgas. Due to its jaw fracture, Pol will not be able to eat solid food for weeks and he still suffers from the aftermath of the bruises suffered during the fall and a severe lung squeezing. The Sonnyboy from Granollers near the Circuito de Cataluña near Barcelona should still be for many months.

The punishment posses of Marquez
For his very ruthless action in the first Grand Prix of the year for some observers, the Repsol Honda Ace only received a double long lap penalty. While Marc Marquez credibly assures that, according to the FIM Stewards, this would only be pronounced for the round in Argentina, this would develop extremely embarrassing for the FIM and the MotoGP. Due to his hand injury, he also fell out in addition to Miguel Oliveira (RNF Aprilia), who was injured by him on the thigh, for the second round in Termas de Rio Hondo. The FIM then claimed publicly, of course the punishment of 6-fold MotoGP World Champion at the next Grand Prix, where he competed. In contrast, Honda understandably committed protest and since then this has been a feast for journalists who obviously do not know more important topics that they want to take care of.

Further scandalous wrong decisions of the FIM Stewards
When Fabio Quartararo fell in the race in curve in 2022, Aleix Espargaró had to move into the gravel bed and then started a catch -up hunt, which brought him up to 4th place. The Yamaha Pilot from France was then proven with a sensitive punishment, although he had not brought his Catalan competitor to fall and had already punished enough with his failure. Almost a year later, Takaaki Nakagami – the records for this were later shown as a repetition – at the GP of Argentina Fabio, absolutely ruthlessly from the route. The race from Quartararo was almost gone because it was passed through it all the way. But the Japanese was not occupied by the FIM with any sanctions and went out completely punitive. Likewise in the previous year, with a colleague in Barcelona, which is indebted by Nakagami. This is only a pattern for the countless scandalous wrong decisions of the FIM Stewards, from the point of view of countless fans, but above all also the pilots affected.

The hope for improvement and less scandals
Many fans of racing urgently want improvement and less scandals in the MotoGP. A hope that you can only agree with, against the background of the already too high number of falls in the MotoGP. In addition to Pol Espargaró, the third Grand Prix of the still young season also lacks Marc Marquez due to his not yet healed hand injury and WM-Mitfavorit Enea Bastianini (Lenovo Ducati), who was shot down by Luca Marini (Mooney VR46 Racing Team Ducati) in sprint racing. The Italian broke his shoulder blade, which is why Austin Ducati replacement driver Michele Pirro had to step in for him. It is to be hoped that the number of victims will not continue to increase.
